✏️ The design originates from a personal interest in being able to meditate for longer periods without discomfort and my love to create and optimise things as a product designer. After making and using the first prototype the idea was born to start a small production and share this tool with others. Not only as a way to make meditation more comfortable but also as a way to provide you with an intention to stick to your practice. I believe that in these busy times we can all use some extra space to come back to ourselves.

🏔 How Ori works is simple yet effective. Creating space and time for yourself with meditation is all about intention and discipline. Ori serves as a tool to empower that intention by being a dedicated piece of furniture related to your practice. Its presence in your home or anywhere else is an effective reminder to take that time and check-in with yourself.

🧘🏼‍♀️ The stool enables you to sit in a position that keeps your spine straight enabling you to meditate in a comfortable and relaxed position. The Body weight is supported by the stool rather than the knees which allows for long periods of uninterrupted meditation without discomfort.

💼 Ori is designed and built with portability and storage in mind. The stool consists of just three pieces of wood that slide into each other and lock magnetically.

🌱 On top of that it is designed in such way that allows to keep the waste of wood during production close to zero.
